Taylor-Davis Announces Sonoma Verde East Expansion

Taylor-Davis Interests, LLC (“TDI”) is proud to announce the launch of Sonoma Verde East (SVE), the newest addition to its flagship master-planned community, Sonoma Verde, one of the most successful and top-rated residential developments in the Rockwall area. TDI officially closed on the Tate Tract, a 148-acre property located directly east of Phase 3 of the existing Sonoma Verde masterplan, across League Road. The project will be developed by TDI in partnership with Taylor Morrison Homes and Perry Homes.

SVE is planned for approximately 370 homesites featuring 70’ and 80’ lots designed for the move-up single-family buyer. Both Taylor Morrison and Perry Homes join Sonoma Verde’s established builder lineup, which includes Highland Homes, Bloomfield Homes, and CastleRock Communities.

New Amenity Center and Shared Lifestyle Features

As part of this expansion, TDI will design and construct a new amenity center within Sonoma Verde East—creating additional recreation opportunities for both new and existing residents. Planned amenities include an aquatic center, a clubhouse with indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a catering kitchen, and flexible meeting areas, along with parks and outdoor games for families and friends to enjoy.

Until the new facility is complete, residents of both Sonoma Verde and Sonoma Verde East will have full access to the existing amenity center within Sonoma Verde proper.

Construction is expected to begin within 6–8 months, with homebuilding anticipated to start in approximately 18 months.
